MONOXIDEA PERSONAL NOTE FROM URLABack to the website

FOR TYLER / THIS IS WHAT I SEE

A piece.
A woman.
A world.

Your creativity.
Her expression.
A story that keeps becoming.

MONOXIDE / A VISION OF WHAT COULD BE01 — 08

01 / A NOTE FOR TYLER

This is
what I see.

Tyler,

I’ve been thinking about you and your work, and spending time looking at what you share on social media. The more I look, the more I see a world that can grow around MONOXIDE. I see a woman finding something beautiful, recognising something of herself in it, and enjoying what happens when she puts it on.

She may already be the woman who wears the unexpected. Or she may be dipping her toe into that possibility, daring herself to choose something simply because she likes it.

Your jewellery gives her a way to explore both. The design catches her eye. The way she wears it makes it hers. Your story gives her another reason to feel connected.

This is my interpretation of what you have shared, and a vision for us to explore together.

With admiration,
Urla

A piece can be the beginning of a much bigger story.

02 / WHO I THINK THE MONOXIDE WOMAN IS

“I am
that woman.”

She has her own eye.
She enjoys being seen.
She chooses for herself.

She wants something distinctive, expressive and beautifully considered. Elevated costume jewellery makes sense to her: she appreciates the design, finish and artistry, and chooses the piece for what it lets her express.

“I’m funky. I’m kind of cool. I’m the woman who can pull that off.”

She enjoys discovering interesting work and knowing the person behind it. “Oh, this Canadian designer I know…” carries her taste, her discovery and her connection to you in one sentence.

She may be culturally curious, drawn to the stories behind your designs. Or she may simply love what she sees, and discover those connections as she gets to know your work.

“I have my own taste.”“I appreciate artistry.”“I’m confident enough to express it.”
She recognises something in your work — and something in herself.

03 / THE FEELING

THE OUTFIT WAS COMPLETE.

Then it
became hers.

I noticed this when I put on a bracelet. My movement changed. I enjoyed my wrist a little more. The jewellery brought out personality I wanted to experience.

My tennis bracelet makes me feel elegant and classic. My big colourful wooden earrings bring out the funky, expressive woman who feels she can pull them off. Both feelings belong to me.

That is what I mean by “status”: the identity she feels she is expressing, and the qualities she enjoys having other people recognise.

She feels it.
She moves in it.
Other people see it.

04 / HER PART IN THE STORY

You design
the possibilities.
She discovers
her version.

An unusual piece invites her to ask: “Do I love this? What draws me to it? How would I wear it?” Choosing becomes a small act of self-definition.

A necklace wraps around her wrist. Rings become her own arrangement. Your creativity and her creativity meet through the way she wears the piece.

For someone moving into a new chapter of life, a small experiment can be a way to reconnect with what she likes. She can start gently, enjoy her choice, and become curious about another.

The styling content can show possibilities and invite her to think, “What would my version look like?”

Discover what catches your eye. Trust your choice. Wear it your way.

05 / HOW I SEE THE VALUE LADDER

A first piece.
An expanding world.

Each step opens something she values: expression, possibilities, a personal collection or a closer connection to your work.

ONE CHAIN RING

“This feels like me.”

The chain ring is a small piece that contains the MONOXIDE idea: expressive, stackable, and born from seeing another possibility in the end of a design. Pair the first purchase with its story, clear product details and useful styling guidance.

Show her: the ring alone, with jewellery she owns, and in a stack.

Customers can begin wherever a piece speaks to them. Repeat purchases can deepen the relationship at the same level. Higher-value offers add breadth, selection, support or access. These are possibilities to shape with you.

06 / COLLECTIONS & CONTINUITY

What she owns
becomes part of
what comes next.

Every new release can create fresh interest in the whole collection. Show the new necklace with the chain ring, then with earrings from an earlier collection. The combinations change its mood.

An existing customer thinks, “That would work beautifully with mine.” A new visitor asks, “What are those earrings?” One release opens several paths through your work.

“Styled with” links, shoppable looks and emails can make those connections visible. New designs add possibilities; new styling helps her rediscover the pieces she already loves.

HER FIRST PIECE+A NEW EXPRESSION=HER EVOLVING COLLECTION

CONTENT THAT MAKES THE VALUE VISIBLE

One piece. One useful presentation.

A short video can begin with the feeling, tell the piece’s story, demonstrate ways to wear it, answer practical questions, and invite her to choose. The idea becomes a reel, a studio post, a styling carousel, a product-page video and an email.

After purchase, help her enjoy the piece. Then show a relevant next possibility.

Each new chapter can bring an earlier piece back into the story.

07 / CONNECTIONS THAT BRING IT TO LIFE

A world she wants
to participate in.

I would choose 100 people or businesses who serve the customers you want to reach. Build relationships so you can serve those customers together.

01 / STYLISTS

Her wardrobe.
Your perspective.

Show how familiar clothes become a personal expression through jewellery.

02 / CLOTHING BRANDS

One white shirt.
Several moods.

Collaborate with complementary designers to show what your pieces bring to theirs.

03 / BOUTIQUES

A discovery
worth sharing.

Style MONOXIDE within their edit, connecting customers with the actual featured pieces.

The piece meets
her life.

Where a design is named for a Black female author, your account of that inspiration adds a meaningful connection. The wearer can appreciate the piece and enjoy sharing its story.

Gallery evenings, performances, travel, birthdays, achievements and Mother’s Day offer other natural moments. A gift can recognise someone’s personality. Different wearers, including men, can bring their own expression to the designs.

Those connections give people ways to discover MONOXIDE, stay close to you, revisit their pieces and introduce others.

08 / THE CONTINUING STORY

Always
becoming more.

The value ladder gives her somewhere to begin and reasons to continue. Your creativity and expertise give the designs their perspective. Relationships, stories and useful styling build a community around the work.

Through it all, she discovers what catches her eye, trusts her choice and expresses it her way. Each meaningful experience can confirm, “I am that woman,” or help her take a first step towards that expression.

MONOXIDE is a designer she discovers,
a story she follows,
and a collection she makes her own.

That is what I see, Tyler: your creativity and her creativity meeting in a piece. A relationship that grows through wearing, learning, collecting, gifting and sharing.

With admiration,
Urla
